Searching trains, live train status, the station board and PNR status are free. Rango charges a small fee only when it books a ticket for you.

One fee per booking, however many passengers. Rango shows you the fee before you pay.
What you pay Rango for. Rango does not sell train tickets and does not collect train fares. IRCTC issues your ticket. You pay the fare on IRCTC's own payment page, with your own IRCTC account. The only amount Rango collects is the fee shown above.
You book for 2 passengers, and the IRCTC fare is ₹745 per passenger:
